Crispy Squid with Lime Hollandaise

Give your all day favourite squid a crispy zing to it thanks to the team at Unilever
Ingredients
- 250g of Self-Raising Flour
- 4 x Eggs
- 100 ml Milk
- 5g Salt
- 5g Pepper
- 600 g Corn kernels, drained
- 40g Chives, chopped
- 3 x finely diced Spanish Chorizo
- 100g crumbled Fetta
- 4 x ripe Avocado
- 20 g of Thai Lime Powder
- 1lL of KNORR Garde d’Or Hollandaise Sauce 1L
- 500ml of American Tomato Chilli Relish GF
Method
- Preheat deep fryer to 190 degrees.
- Take squid tubes and split tube. Clean and score. Cut into strips.
- Take a medium bowl and make the batter. Sieve both flours and bicarb together. Add in ice water until desired consistency.
- In a small pot place the KNORR Garde d’Or Hollandaise Sauce and the Lime powder. Mix together and heat slowly.
- Coat the squid strips in the batter and then slowly place in the deep fryer. Cook until golden brown.
- Let drain and serve.
